Nice boat, have no pets, but absolutely love my Wee Lassie. Have visited many freshwater springs in Florida by now. Favorites are Silver Springs (of the movie Moonraker fame) and Rainbow Springs (Dunnellon, FL). First paddle boat was a Necky, but this is SO MUCH EASIER ON MY BACK. Literally put my chiropractor Out of Business. Not going back. EVER!
I as going to say awesome, but was beaten to the punch. How marvelous that you could have a hand in building a purposeful canoe for you and have a nice cover(looks like Redleaf) and spray cover, or splash deck. And best of all to be able to share it with Lucy.
oh, wow, that is beautiful! i don't think we'll be getting our pup into either one of the new Swifts ... he's definitely looking at some alone time while we explore the north lakes!
What a wonderful treat for yourself! I’m looking for a canoe that I can maneuver on and off the water, on and off my car. Not as young as I once was!
Not so young either. :-) I'm selling off my heavier boats.

Well, the cover is not from Jeremy. It was the last custom cover Dan Cooke built for me. We installed it at the Northstar Event. I miss Dan. :-(
Understand. Dan will be missed.
This is such a wonderful story! Many happy paddles to you and Lucy! Your back will be better with the lighter canoe.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. What a joy to read.
